Teodora Bolero

Peau de Soie in Bisque Silt, Latte embroidery — warm, earthy, composed.

The Teodora Bolero is a foundational study in modern Filipiniana. Defined by its square-cut silhouette and butterfly sleeves, the piece establishes proportion as its primary language — structured at the frame, softened in motion.

Sampaguita-inspired embroidery moves across the surface as a quiet rhythm, integral to the form rather than applied to it. Here the motif is carried in earthy coffee tones — latte — warming the neutral ground, depth drawn from tone rather than contrast.

Two editions. The Classic carries the latte embroidery alone; the Embellished works hand-applied beadwork into the motif, deepening the warm neutral without breaking it.

Structured butterfly sleeves carry the proportion into movement. A hidden front hook closes the silhouette clean.

A signature study from The Mestizo.
