The Vero Line Barong reinterprets the traditional Filipino barong through precision cut and quiet structure. Crafted from pineapple silk and lined in an ashy beige tone for full coverage, the garment balances the heritage translucency of the barong with a modern, wearable form.
A deep V placket introduces a sharper architectural line at the chest, shifting the classic proportions into a more confident and contemporary stance. Vertical embroidered panels run along the front, guiding the eye through the garment’s frame while preserving the traditional language of the barong.
Each panel is executed entirely by hand using the Pinukpok technique — a heritage embroidery process where threads are carefully aligned and beaten into the fabric to create subtle geometric texture and rhythm.
The result is a barong that honors traditional craftsmanship while refining its silhouette for the present.

Craftsmanship
The embroidery is executed through Pinukpok, a traditional Filipino technique where threads are pressed and beaten into the textile to form subtle geometric patterns. This process requires patience and precision, producing embroidery that appears woven into the fabric rather than sitting on its surface.
Each garment is assembled with careful attention to maintaining the natural structure and lightness of pineapple silk.
- Hand Wash Only: Spot clean or hand wash with a mild detergent. Do not wring.
- Drying: Lay flat to dry in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight.
- Dry Cleaning: For heavily soiled items or when unsure about care, consider professional dry cleaning.
- Ironing: Use low to medium heat with the silk setting. Light steam can also be used to remove wrinkles.

Standard size items have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. A $25 flat shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
