Rizal Piña Barong
Formality that doesn't announce itself.
The Rizal is cut from piña — the rarest of the barong cloths, kept for the occasions that ask for it. The fiber is drawn from the pineapple leaf by hand, knotted into a thread fine enough to see through, then woven into a cloth that holds light rather than returns it. Lined throughout, so it reads either way — over an undershirt or on its own.
Hand-dyed to a cool aquamarine, it carries the slight irregularity that marks a hand over a machine. The embroidery is sewn across the front by hand — quiet work, lost at a distance, meant for whoever stands close enough to read it.
Nothing about it asks to be noticed. It is anyway.

- Hand Wash Only: Spot clean or hand wash with a mild detergent. Do not wring.
- Drying: Lay flat to dry in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight.
- Dry Cleaning: For heavily soiled items or when unsure about care, consider professional dry cleaning.
- Ironing: Use low to medium heat with the silk setting. Light steam can also be used to remove wrinkles.
