The Mabaya runs shorter than a traditional barong — cropped, close, cut to move. In near-white cocoon silk, the banana flower is worked at the front in beige and silver, a form the house keeps for abundance. Hand-sewn beadwork lines the placket. Fully lined, equally at home over an undershirt or on its own.

- Hand Wash Only: Spot clean or hand wash with a mild detergent. Do not wring.
- Drying: Lay flat to dry in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight.
- Dry Cleaning: For heavily soiled items or when unsure about care, consider professional dry cleaning.
- Ironing: Use low to medium heat with the silk setting. Light steam can also be used to remove wrinkles.
