The Forma Boyfriend Barong translates the traditional barong silhouette into a softened women's proportion without reducing its architecture. Cut from cocoon silk, the fabric carries a subtle grain and natural sheen that holds structure while remaining fluid.
The front panel is defined by hand-executed calado — an openwork technique that removes and rebinds threads to create measured transparency within the weave. Surrounding it, embroidery builds density along the lower front, grounding the composition rather than ornamenting it. Subtle scattered embroidery appears across the sleeves and body, maintaining rhythm without competing with the central frame.
The sleeve rests just above the wrist bone — long enough to signal formality, deliberate enough to reveal the wrist. Familiar structure. Adjusted ownership.

HOW TO CARE
- Hand Wash Only: Spot clean or hand wash with a mild detergent. Do not wring.
- Drying: Lay flat to dry in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight.
- Dry Cleaning: For heavily soiled items or when unsure about care, consider professional dry cleaning.
- Ironing: Use low to medium heat with the silk setting. Light steam can also be used to remove wrinkles.
Shipping & Returns
In stock items will ship within 3 days of placement of order. If the item is not in stock, order will be delivered in 3 to 6 weeks based on product type. Multiple shipping options are available during checkout.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange. A $25 flat shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
