• Piña with Brown Lining (Piña)
  • Traditional piña fabric with embroidery tailored in three shades of beige. The stitch work alternates complex designs for an overall look that melds ethnic sensibilities with luxurious modern fashion.
• Crafted using Piña Suksok or “sinuksok” (to insert), a method of inserting colored threads by hands and sticks to form ethnic patterns
• Embroidery designs uniquely crafted by Mestizo with inspiration from traditional banig (handwoven mat), sinag (light), and kayakas (fallen dried leaves) patterns
• Uses traditional piña fabric made by weaving fibers culled from the pineapple plant
